  WASHINGTON (BP)--The election of several pro-life Democrats in the November election may have marked a defining moment in the future of the pro-life movement in the party, the head of Democrats for Life of America says.

        Election Day saw Democrat Bob Casey Jr., son of the late outspoken pro-life Pennsylvania governor and a pro-lifer himself, win a U.S. Senate seat from the Keystone State. In the House, a handful of Democratic pro-life candidates -- including Heath Shuler of North Carolina and Joe Donnelly and Brad Ellsworth -- also won.   NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--Per capita, Americans give more money to charity in the month of December than most nations give all year long, and Americans who attend a house of worship weekly are 25 percent more likely to give than people who rarely attend, according to a Syracuse University professor.

  Seven members of the Lamplighter Sunday School class from Riverland Hills Baptist Church in Irmo, S.C., attended the Adults 55+ Conference in Ridgecrest, N.C., where they were recognized for 10 years of faithful Adopt An Annuitant contributions.

        In 1996, Anne Brooks was on staff at the South Carolina Baptist Convention and watched a video about the Adopt An Annuitant program.
