NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--The Israeli Security Cabinet announced April 30 it will not permit a United Nations team to enter the country to investigate the clash between Israeli troops and Palestinian fighters in the Jenin refugee camp.
"Israel presented several matters to the U.N. that are essential to holding a fair probe, but as long as these conditions are not met, it will be impossible for the team to proceed," the Security Cabinet said in its April 30 announcement. Read More
